Pop-Up Art Fair Presents: "Adé" A Pop-Up Gallery Show // 6pm-10pm

Adé is an art show centering on artists of African descent and features those working in or around the concept of African art and culture. Presented by Pop-Up Art Fair and Kọ Cafe.

Pop-Up Art Fair is excited to present our upcoming Pop-Up Gallery show, Adé. This showcase is in collaboration with Kọ Cafe and will take place on September 8, 2023, at 722 Grand St in Jersey City. This event is part of JC Fridays, a free city-wide visual & performing arts festival.


Adé is an art show centering on artists of African descent and features those working in or around the concept of African art and culture. Adé means "crown" or "royalty" in Yoruba. Come engage, converse, and celebrate the culture.


KO CAFE Ko means "to build" in Yoruba, a West African language spoken primarily in Nigeria. Similarly, Ko also means "to go or movement" in Twi (spoken in Ghana). The name Ko is both an homage to heritage and a herald to forward progress. Your favorite coffee shop in the center of Jersey City. African Inspired.


POP-UP ART FAIR The Pop-Up Art Fair is an art event series spotlighting a diverse array of artists and uplifting and celebrating the unique cultures found throughout the New York metro area. The Pop-Up Art Fair is supported by public funds from the Jersey City Arts and Culture Trust Fund.
