Getting Around Jersey City
Part of the fun of JC Fridays is visiting several events all over the city in one night. This page includes information and helpful tips about getting around Jersey City. Each event listing will include parking information and special transportation instructions.

Via Jersey City is an on-demand, dynamically routed, mobile-app powered shuttle service in partnership with Jersey City, NJ. The service is open to all residents, workers, and visitors to Jersey City, and will get you from Point A to Point B anywhere in the service zone (rides that begin and end in the Downtown/Journal Square area are restricted).
Via Jersey City charges $2 per ride to get anywhere around the city, plus $0.50 per mile for rides outside of downtown. Your first two rides are free via coupon code “VIAINJC”. You can learn more or download the Via app here.
Via is best for traveling to and from areas of Jersey City that have limited PATH, Light Rail and Bus service.
Citi Bike, New York City’s bike share system, also extends to Jersey City and Hoboken in New Jersey. As an Annual Member, you have access to the entire system. So even if you live in Manhattan but hang out in Jersey City, the same membership has got you covered! You can learn more and join Citi Bike here.
