Faculty Exhibition at Rankin Hall Featuring: Trish Gianakis, Daniel Cosentino, and Frank Gimpaya Join us for a special faculty art exhibition at Rankin Hall, the creative hub where art classes are taught. This showcase highlights the work of three distinguished faculty artists whose practices span a wide spectrum of contemporary art-making—from immersive technology to traditional fine arts. Trish Gianakis is known for her immersive, interactive artworks that fuse physical art with augmented and virtual reality. Her multifaceted practice includes AI-generated digital paintings, raku-fired ceramic sculptures, virtual reality set design, and animated storytelling. Rooted in spiritual themes, mythology, and healing, her work invites viewers into transformative, multisensory experiences. Daniel Cosentino works across photography, sculpture, and mixed media. His practice explores latent communication, symbolism, and the balance between organic and synthetic forms. Drawing from personal history, philosophical inquiry, and art historical traditions, Cosentino's work investigates the evolution of visual language through a synthesis of classical and contemporary approaches. Frank Gimpaya is a fine arts photographer celebrated for his ability to “paint with light.” His extensive travels across North America and Europe inform a body of work that captures the mystery and individuality of people and places. Through his lens, Gimpaya continues to explore the emotional depth and universality of the human experience.
