Surati Studios - Indian Performing Arts
Participate in a trial Indian Classical, Choreographed Dance or Bollywood class, check out Surati Studios, take advantage of our open studio space to create your own music or dance piece, listen to some live music, find out how you can get involved with our nonprofit or simply network with artists in the community and have a drink on us. Refreshments will be served.

Schedule:
5 - 7 pm: Free Open Studio hours: open to artists who would like to use the space to create movement, music or reels. First come first served basis or email us at info@suratiinc.com to book in advance. 30 min slots available.
7 - 8 pm: Trial classes
(7 PM: Intro to classical dances - basics of Bharatnatyam, Kuchipudi and Mohiniattam
7:20 PM: Bollywood
7:40 PM: Semi-classical choreographed dance)
8 - 9 PM: Open House Party: mingle and drinks, networking, live music, sing-along and get to know about Surati studios.

Wheelchair Accessible
We can organize a removable ramp at the door if we know in advance about anyone needing a wheelchair. Because our entrance is on the street level and the sidewalk is narrow, it is hard to keep a ramp there at all times. However, anyone needing wheelchair accessibility can email info@suratifpa.org or call 201-360-1553 / 201-349-0958 in advance so we can make arrangements
