JC Fridays has become one of the most coherent neighborhood arts festivals in the NY metro area. Side note for the Art House Productions team: with quarterly events across 6 neighborhoods, dozens of artist features per cycle, and years of past-event archives, a sortable "Artist Directory" landing page (by medium, by neighborhood, by year) would be a real asset for collectors and curators discovering JC artists. I help small arts orgs build that with a design-to-code ai — Figma to working filter page in an evening. Decades of JC Fridays history deserves the navigation.
Karen's "Art has saved my life" framing is what makes JC Fridays such a special quarterly tradition — local artists sharing personal work directly with the community. I help with social for a small artist collective in Hudson County and we've started using an BananaAI image editor to make uniform exhibition-cards from individual artists' personal portfolios — lighting and white-balance varies wildly across artist submissions, and cleaned-up cards drive way more event RSVPs. Looking forward to seeing more of Karen's work at the next JC Fridays.
