karen's statement about art saving her life resonates deeply. it's a powerful reminder of the personal role art plays. the quarterly structure of jc fridays seems like a great way to consistently connect artists with their local community. looking forward to seeing how her new works develop and are shared in future events.

Karen’s question “what is saving yours” really stuck with me—it turns her exhibit into an open conversation instead of just a display. I love that JC Fridays brings that kind of intimacy into every neighborhood, not just the usual gallery spots. By the way, I keep a free short haircut style gallery I like to share: https://shorthaircuts.net/

JC Fridays has become one of the most coherent neighborhood arts festivals in the NY metro area. Side note for the Art House Productions team: with quarterly events across 6 neighborhoods, dozens of artist features per cycle, and years of past-event archives, a sortable "Artist Directory" landing page (by medium, by neighborhood, by year) would be a real asset for collectors and curators discovering JC artists. I help small arts orgs build that with a design-to-code ai — Figma to working filter page in an evening. Decades of JC Fridays history deserves the navigation.
