Kick off the SMUSH season with the Golden Light Open Mic - all talents welcome! Plus enjoy the first public viewing of Hangups II: A Community Curated Art Show. Gallery viewing 6p, Open Mic 7-9p
Golden Light Poetry (IG @goldenlightpoetry) returns to SMUSH to host another exquisite open mic. Poets, singers, musicians, storytellers, movement artists, and more are invited to the stage - all talents are welcome! Reserve an open mic slot by emailing agoldenlightpoetry@aol.com. A handful of slots will also be available day-of. Suggested donation $10-15.
‘Hangups II: A Community Curated Art Show’ soft launches at JC Fridays, too! Artists from Jersey City and beyond are exhibiting… whatever they feel like! Come see what they put up – and be ready to take your favorites home the same day. This show is selling straight off the wall and will be replenished throughout the run.
