Friday, June 5th, 6:00pm-8:00pm

The exhibition "Enjoy the Process" showcases the work of Karen Carattini, a Jersey City-based artist born with cerebral palsy, whose work in printmaking and other mediums explores the therapeutic and regenerative powers of the creative process. Working in monotype, woodcut, and drypoint printmaking techniques, Ms. Carattini's work draws inspiration from mermaids, sea creatures, Marilyn Monroe, and her own advocacy for disability rights. The majority of work on display was completed at JC Print Room, which is proud to host her first solo exhibition.
