Art has a way of defying expectations, challenging norms,and making us look twice. Gallery 14C always looks twice – and believes in second chances.

That’s Not Right is an exhibition born from our appreciation for work that wasn’t selected by a panel of outside judges for the Art Fair 14C Showcase. A continuing tradition, this show is our own version of a Salon des Refusés—a space where the overlooked finds its rightful place.

The selected works all share something a little off—a detail that unsettles, surprises, or intrigues – something that’s not right.

Whether through an unusual composition, an unexpected material, or a concept that lingers in the mind, these pieces demand that the viewer to pause, reconsider, and look again. That’s Not Right invites you to embrace the unconventional, question assumptions, and find meaning in the beautifully imperfect.
